I just adore this card, it makes my heart smile each time I see it. It is simple but complicated at the same time. I used lemon drop ink pad and randomly applied that ink to the whimsy wallpaper stamp and applied that to my whip cream card stock. This was a new technique for me and even though I didn’t have full control of the ink on the background it worked in my favor.
I hope you take risks with your inks and enjoy the end results as much as I have.
I adore making these types of bows for my cards, no need to worry about the tails and if they are even. Simply take ribbon and make a loop, then wrao the center loop to complete the look.
The stamps use the 1st and 2nd generation of stamping.
Hope you enjoy your day!
This years catalog offered mixed media items. When I first got wind of this I was so excited. FSJ being in its infancy really is a driving force in moving our hobby forward and being a leader in the product offerings.
We waiting with bated breath but here are the new bundle offerings for some of the best pieces of the mixed media offerings.
FSj will be offering special training for all their coaches so if you have been on the fence of joining, right now is a great time.
The papers and enamel dots are Simple Stories I Am collection. I purchased them via the AllScrapbookSteals site that offers 25% off daily. I have to confess, that is where I get a majority of my papers because they carry the companies I love the most.
Using this fun stamp set, I stamped out the leaves and the flower on whip cream cardstock then cut them out with our fantastic detail fine point scissors. The thank you stamp was stamped prior to mounting the die cut card with the foam dots. I layed the card panel over the folded card and stamped. YES! It was that simple. Added the simple flower in the corner really made this card pop.
Thanks for looking and I hope you are inspired to make something yourself this week.
