I just adore this card, it makes my heart smile each time I see it. It is simple but complicated at the same time. I used lemon drop ink pad and randomly applied that ink to the whimsy wallpaper stamp and applied that to my whip cream card stock. This was a new technique for me and even though I didn’t have full control of the ink on the background it worked in my favor.
I hope you take risks with your inks and enjoy the end results as much as I have.

This is such a fun technique, I stamped the image in our pigment whip cream ink and embossed with clear powder. Used our wonderful matching dies to cut out the butterfly. Added the strip of the pattern ribbon really made this pop off the page.
Hope you enjoy this quick and simple card and it inspires you to make something.
A bit of my shabby chic side came out when making this card. I used the second generation inked stamp for the dress form and offset the postage stamps to not be squared on the card. I then cut a circle in the card to allow the Eiffel Tower image to show through, which was stamped on the base of the card. Finishing if off with a bit of sponging with the oatmeal cookie ink pad.
I just love these feather stamps, and I am happy they work well together as well. I stamped the solid one with sweet pear on whip cream and the detailed one with whip cream (pigment) on bubblegum. For the pattern paper, that is digital paper that I designed and printed on my home computer.
For the white, I drew lines with a pencil to where I wanted the cut lines to be.
I am in LOVE with this new stamp of the month card making kit. There are several card ideas just brewing in my head and I can’t wait to get my set to start stamping.
